Come explore the amazing marine science taking place in your own backyard at the Rutgers University Marine Field Station (RUMFS) Open House at the end of Great Bay Blvd. in Little Egg Harbor, NJ. Meet Rutgers and JC NERR researchers and scientists and explore the exciting research happening in and around the Jacques Cousteau Reserve. If you have ever wondered what happens in the mysterious building at the end of the road, this is your chance to find out. Visitors must walk across the ~1/4 mile causeway to the building and no registration is required for this event.

There are quite a few old CG stations along the coast that have been re-purposed. Two are in IBSP; #110 the maintenance building and #112 the visitor center. #111 was used as a beach shack for some time.
