I really don't know how people can go out there and lay in the grass after they have been there. I went to a local cemetery recently and they had left so much crap it was hard to walk around. If they were your dog you would be in jail. I really can't blame them for doing what they have to do to remove the problem.
46er, carbon dioxide or carbon monoxide is more than likely used. It is very common, for animal control to euthanize large numbers of animals using these gases. Sometimes other inert gases are added, such as argon.
I understand what is used, asking how it is administered.
So true. My only objection to the killing is the waste of meat while some people are starving. I know we're not the most rural state, but we certainly do our share of wasting meat.To be honest, the geese probably had their necks broken as they were caged. Quick and easy. It doesn't bother you or I, but the treehuggers just love to scream about these things. I say feed the homeless with roasted goose. It is a waste of good meat.
I suspect it would have to meet some kind of health dept standards in that case, and would need to be cleaned, transported, stored, distributed, etc. Probably not a very good proposition from business point of view...
