This occurred on my way home. Concentrate on my car and the road as the truck is passing me in the beginning. Then the video overlaps when it switches to the front and then watch my car again. I only moved over once.

Good move Guy. I wonder if the wind blew that big panel towards you. Something similar happened to me on the way down Monday; a fuel truck was on my right, and a parkway maint. crew on the right of the truck, on the margin doing something. He moved towards me to not hit them, and I was an inch from going onto those annoying ripples at 75 mph.

The dogs want some screen time!!!!!

I should have mentioned this last week, but the dogs might have gotten a better picture if I hadn't been busy petting them, the Black Lab in particular. By the way, this was on the front of the T-shirt I was wearing last week:

Our family's last dog was a sweet Black Lab named Choo-Choo, so I have a soft spot for them.

Maybe.

Those truck come from the precast place in Millville. My daughter told me they had to add support to a bridge they go over near the plant because the weight is so heavy.

I have a soft spot for black labs as well.Muslims supposedly hate dogs but have a special hatred for black dogs.I don't know why,I love them.Perhaps its because overseas dogs often run wild and will eat corpses if thats whats available so are definitely considered unclean. My black lab doesn't care for corpses but he does have a thing for poopy.

They are nice size cedars from what I remember. They were there on the 1930 aerial so they are at least that old. I used to live in South Seaville.

That cedar grove was our alternate way out. I wanted to see it, but I wanted to see the bigger deciduous trees more. Plus, if not using that zigzag dirt road to get out to Kings Highway, we'd have a hard time getting back to where the cars were parked. If we had to hike out to King's Highway, I'd be fine calling Uber to get us back to the cars. BTW, that ziz-zag road is on USFW land. I happened to ask the superintendent last nite, because a road like that (if it's still open) is a great place to find plants on the margins.

There is access to Gracetown Rd all on fed lands. You don't have to use the zig zag. The zig zag was reopened 25 years ago as a fire break with a gyro track forestry mower. It initially was created as a development. All grown back up now.

By the way, a question for Guy and John. This is going to sound a little odd. Remember, for some time we were in the bowels of the swamp, we even ate at the middle, in a sunny spot. The swamp is about 10 to 12 feet lower than the surrounding woods. Well, I was thinking back last night, of when we finally saw the gentle rise leading to the upland at the far side. Not as much then, but now, in my mind it was as if we were underwater that whole time while in there, and walking towards the margin (shore) it was like we were under water all that time, like under a lake or a sea.

Sophie was a great dog. I regret not meeting you until after she had passed away. As much fun as it was to read about the exploits of you and whippoorbill on Tuesday with Alfie or on your solo adventures, it was raised to another level seeing pictures and hearing stories of her out and about, on her own with you or along with Bill's Lab Sparky.

I'm not sure about the feeling of being underwater, but there were times where I could imagine myself in the position of a salmon going upstream, knowing there was no choice but to keep moving forward regardless of the obstacles. :)
