Jessica and I spent about 3 hours this morning stone searching with Piney Warden including one I looked for years ago and could not find for some reason. Our first find was this stone which is completely up in the air inside of a root mass.
Then we visited the incised stone I could not find years ago. Looking around while there today I realized I had been 20 feet from it and never noticed it back then. It is the LS stone and I am uncertain what it represents. However, the first names of the two individuals who jointly owned the adjacent property years ago were Lizze and Sallie.
Next, in some serious briers we found this small stone hidden under a large amount of ground cover.
This stone is not much bigger than it looks. It came right out of the ground. I was hoping there was an LS on it but that was not to be.
And finally, this stone which at this moment is somewhat of a mystery. It appears it may be on an old property line.
