Fond memories. The Big Flamingo was an old PT boat. Couple of the head boats were as well.

Nice video, I downloaded a copy. I've been going there since at least 1954. I recognize many of the amusements and motels. Most are gone, being replaced with condos, too bad, it's loosing it's charm. Did you know that they left a portion of the old noisy wooden bridge in North Wildwood as a pier? Remember all of those shacks as you drove in?

There is a group there trying to preserve the old motels and buildings; had a special on TV some time ago.
