The worms are back....

Actually they are now hanging from most of the trees here in Nassau county on Long Island. Even on a typical Nassau street, packed with houses and not many trees, I got quite a few webs on me and in my face and some baby inchworms too.
I can imagine that the woods are quite bad right now. Probably be worse than last year (and last year was bad!).
I remember going to Rocky Point and there were hundreds of thousands of these inchworms hanging over the trail. After walking through I had so much webs on me I couldn't breathe and I must've picked off at least 50 or 60 inchworms.
How's it been so far down there in NJ? I almost hate the inchworms more than the pine flies. And you know that "sound of rain" you hear on a dry day in the woods, that's inchworm poo.:jeffd:
