Liquor sales within a state park. Progress?? I think it's a first, but not sure. Thought liquor was always disallowed. What changed? Picnic tables would be a better option

I agree, should not happen.

I remember about 15 years ago I brought the family to Lake Absegami in Bass River state forest. Swimming, hot dogs, burgers, tater salad, ice tea, cake, you know the deal. Anyway, I started noticing some of the patrons (who looked like they were from the city) were nursing beers in a sly mode. I was pretty shocked. I wonder if that is still the norm there. It had to be obvious to the admin.
