Thursday snow melt on the Skit

My power went down for 30 hours Wednesday and Thursday. I took my wife to my son's house in Medford Lakes on Wednesday night, dodging an obstacle course of downed power lines and fallen trees. After a cold night in the house, when I woke up I cleared the driveway, and headed back into the woods, trying to catch what may be the last snow of the year. I was pelted by falling snowballs and ice for two hours under the trees.

Fantastic pics as usual, I find myself not in the woods as much as I used to be or like to be, need to change that back!! your pics always take me "home" personal heartfelt thank you! you always seem to be in areas that are akin to me, remote,beautiful and wild! Keep up the great work!

Thanks Joe. Working at home gives me flexibility. I have never done anything quite as exciting as wading up a stream in the darkness before sunrise, knowing that somewhere in Wharton there is a bear or two, and hoping that they aren't near me. I hope you are able to get into the forest more this year.
