With Gas prices going Up everyday I think the Pines will see less traffic this year. Will the price of gas cut back on you going to the Pines this year?
Good PointNot for me personally. I don't recall seeing any difference when gas was even more expensive (2008?), do you?
Thats Good news Going down in your areaWith prices up, but on the way down (- 4 cents around here overnight), folks will probably defer any long distance trips and stay closer to home. Might mean more local vacations/day trips. Great for local business, but not so much for those that want some privacy.

I spend a lot less time visiting the core pine areas (Wharton, etc) than I used to. I'm out in the woods when I go 30 feet from my door and that fulfills a large portion of my desire to get into nature. Aside from the cost of gas, I just don't enjoy spending time in my car and sitting in traffic as much as I used to.
