Unkown substance coming from ground

I found some kind of seepage coming from the ground off of Hampton furnace Rd. last Saturday. I took photos while there, but would like to report it to someone. The substance was oily and had a shiny appearance. It was coming down a slight slope and into a stream. My girlfriend and I love the pine barrens. Tom (new)

That may just be the natural decaying of vegetation by bacteria, but then again it may not be. Can you post the photo's?
