I wanted to keep you all in the loop regarding a project that the students and I became involved in a few years back. In short, the students were in the middle of an amphibian conservation project and I went to look up the NJ State reptile and amphibian and noticed that there wasn't one. So we started talking about proposing a NJ State reptile and amphibian, I put together a letter, and this is how far it's come! We apparently have some competition for the reptile but the amphibian looks like an easy win (for now!). Since the amphibian that we proposed is near and dear to many hearts here, I wanted to share with you all.
