Volunteer Pine Barrens Caretakers ??

I'd be up for it. For me, possibly a once a month thing. Maybe more frequent as time allows, but I like the idea!!
even beforehand would anyone be willing to help me cleanup burnt mill road in wharton someday soon? its bad, and unfortunately no groups from this previous weekends cleanup went to that area.
Perhaps we could also identify specific areas that we think need other attention too.
Maybe I am too far fetched in my thinking. Or I am duplicating or complicating the wheel that has already been invented.
Perhaps I can create a google map to these locations and each person will know what section has someone as the key caretaker-organizer. Perhaps share this with DEP, or Pinelands Commission and maybe they would help identify some official recognition for those who participate.
Certainly we are more of their eyes and ears for the Pines then they have the official capacity for.
I have recently assisted as a volunteer the person handling the Broom Crowberry project near the range. Andy Windich. Maybe he has some other contacts in DEP.

i dont want any reconigtion taking care of my backyard lol. i appreciate it just by seeing a clean trail while driving on back there.
