I just walked outside and looked around, and on my way back in saw this on my door frame. I didn't bother it.

Drove around by my house and there was 100s of spadefoots out on roads and in ponds.

Awesome! I wondered if they'd be out after that downpour, they say usually it's a deluge that stimulates them.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of southern New Jersey...including the following
counties...Atlantic, Camden, and Gloucester.

* WHEN...Until 800 PM EDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 517 AM EDT, the gauge along the Great Egg Harbor River at
Folsom remained above flood stage. This is in response to the
4 to 6 inches of rain that fell over the weekend. The gauge
is still slowly rising and water levels are expected to
remain above flood stage through this evening.
- For Great Egg Harbor at Folsom:
At 5:00am the stage was 6.27 feet.
Flood Stage is 6 feet.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around...don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most
flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive

A few years back we had our driveway resurfaced and it is higher now. When it rains hard the water rises by the house and gets close to the crawlspace vent. This evening it rained hard enough for a short while to actually reach the opening. We have to come up with a solution to stop that.

This afternoon, I went to the main Burlington County Library in Westampton. It was raining hard there before I left. On the way home on Route 206 north of Vincentown, it poured. Back at Tabernacle, though, my brother told me that it barely rained at all. At the Shamong gauge, only 0.01 inch today. Not good.

At 1247 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Medford to Chesilhurst to near Millville, moving
east at 45 mph. This storm has a history of producing quarter sized
hail in northern Delaware.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Wind damage to roofs,
siding, trees, and power lines is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Vineland, Millville, Bridgeton, Cumberland, Cherry Hill, Evesham,
Mount Laurel, Voorhees, Medford, Glassboro, Lindenwold, Hammonton,

1.28 inches of rain at the Shamong gauge as of 2 PM, no hail, no tornadoes. (There was a tornado warning to 1:30 PM as close as LeisureTowne.) Other than having to pick up the contents of a recycling bin tipped over by the wind, most satisfactory.

Happened to be at the Flying-W in Medford for the 3-day hot air balloon event, which obviously was cancelled and I haven't seen it come down like that in years. I don't know the total accumulation, but it was amazing to watch.
