Anybody know what was going on tonight in Wharton SF? I turned my scanner on late and heard a search going on in around Batsto, Rangers, Starte Police,SP Hellie, ATV`s...hole nine yards it sounded like. I didn`t hear the begining so i don`t know what/who they were looking for.

Two kayakers have gone missing;

State Police and other authorities are searching for two kayakers reported missing at 7:46 p.m. Thursday, a State Trooper from the Tuckerton Barracks confirmed.

Two white males went kayaking on the Mullica River in Batsto State Park in Burlington County in the afternoon, the trooper said. They were reported missing several hours later.

Authorities began their search and continued through the evening by water and air. “We have a whole lot of troopers out there and the State Park Rangers.”

Just hung up with Terry @ Batsto station.
2 kids in Kayaks yes. Mullica river according to her.
They found 'em.
That part might not have made the paper but she said it was on the news.
It is good to know our people out there do a good job when they're needed.
