How many toes are there? I'm not sure but it looks like five. also doesn't look canine or feline. If i had to guess based on the picture alone I'd say It was a bear (because of sheer size and shape) . . . but pictures can be decieving.

Can anyone tell me what animal made these tracks. They were pretty big. Bigger than a bobcats, that's for sure.

Thanks.

Is it me or do these links open Bob's photo's? I have tried three browsers and they open the brick foundation Bob found.

If I am correct I think I know why. Bev did you get the link from the "Most Recent Photo" section in the Gallery? I think as soon as someone adds new photo's which Bob did, your photo is moved and the link goes bad.

Hopefully other get the same result as I did so I am not wrong.

Nope. Me too.

So if you open the Users Gallery and take a link in the Last Additions section, and someone adds a photo, your link will display the wrong photo.

Ooops, sorry about that. Here are the links looking right in my folder:

My guess is that there were maybe 6 maybe 7 toes. But can you make out the pad indentation on, (specifically) the right paw - it must be a rather heavy animal to make that? There were only 1 set of these prints ("it" being alone) but they went on for a distance. The snow was finally good for something.

I showed this to friend and they also thought it might be a bear. Eeeks, now that makes 3, YES 3 places down here that bears (may) have been sighted in. 2 places bears were seen by very reputable hunters we know.

OK, these links were correct last night. Hmmm. Now they are not working. I had added an enhanced photo of one of these pictures and now it has messed up the links above.

**Shouldn't a newly added photo be added to the 'end' of your gallery and not inserted somewhere 'inside' the gallery?**

ok here is the enhanced photo:
