What do I have here?

Very nice snakes, all of them. Here is one I stumbled upon, "Literally almost stepped on him last weekend, A Rough Green Snake. He is the second one I found this summer, the first sadly was deceased in the road.

Great pic and great find! I have yet to find a rough green, but next year I plan on spending more time in their habitat (on purpose) 
Regarding snakes that eat crickets, this may be anecdotal, but in the places where I've found Dekay's brown snakes, crickets also seem to abound. I think that they probably have a voracious appetite for them too.

I've been tripping over these snakes lately. In the most exposed of places.
