FooFoo, you going to Alaska? I don't know, its not a pine barren plant, and I can't see to tie it to anything I know. Looks a bit like a morning glory. Photo is not close enough. How about this?

an aquaintance who is hiking through alaska right now. he didnt know what it was so i figured i would bring it up to the experts here. sorry i didnt mention it wasnt a native pine barrens. probably will see alaska in the next couple years for sure. its just hard to decide what to see in a 2 week period.
