Where in the World am I? 2/26

Cruising through the Pinelands again recently and I remembered how some of you guys would like to see if you can pin point where I am within them. Here's a shot with a hint that could spoil it. Off in the distance, about a mile west of my plane is a KC10 Stratotanker. Given his direction, where in the Pine Barrens could I possibly be?

I agree. It is a view of Goose Pond from the area above Sooy Road.

It is shaped like Goose Pond (pond on right) but what is that square just south of the pond? has there been some logging in there I'm not aware of?

okay I just seen on google earth they did devastate the land just south of goose pond.didn't know that Haines had wasted and pillaged more of his land.

I was thinking Goose pond also but was thinking what is that huge square area just below it.Last time I wlalked thought there it was all woods...Ooop! scratch that!

Quick with the draw guys! But Goose Lake is right. I'm about ten/fifteen miles north of Atlantic City and just turned back south back for KMIV. The Stratotanker likely is shuttling from Atlantic City Intl. to McGuire AFB, or was practicing approaches into McGuire. They're beautiful airplanes; variants of the DC-10/MD-11 modified for carrying about 50000 gallons of fuel for aerial replenishing. This one doesn't seem really close, but trust me, when you can see a plane's landing lights you're pretty close!
