I am guessing the power lines in the southern half of Medford Township. Between Jackson (once David Coles) Road and Atsion Road. Not that far from where Jobstown Bogs used to be? If not, I have another guess.

No Oriental, use your other guess. You are kind of warm.

I should have known better. Now I think about it the power lines are different in that area than the ones in your photo. Second guess: The power lines in the vicinity of Prickett's Mill Road near Allenwood Estates and Eaglesmere.

Side note: Medford Township was home to two Prickett's Sawmills. One was at Chairville and the other became Braddock's Mill.

Your second guess is right on target Oriental. You sure do know your power lines! The shot was taken at the red dot looking south.

I went to the location you linked to and that is not the proper location. Can you look the link over again and see if you may have moved the map after dropping the pointer?

At this moment I can't think where it is. Maybe it will come to me.

Bobpbx, is the tree pictured just off of Ft. Dix Road?

No, but good guess.

You know, I did not choose this tree to try and really "stump" you guys. You'll likely kick yourself when I tell you, and you'll go "oh yeah, that's right, that tree is there!". I'd hazard a guess to say that some of you have driven by within 50 feet of it over 20 times or more.

Noboat, if you check historic aerials, I forget the exact year, but you will see a farm in that location. I think I posted a question about it before, or at least I meant to. If you walk back in the woods there you will find remains of a rail fence, some terracotta pipe and a foundation with some steps. This is also the road where the contractor dumped the 2 loads of shingles that were a hot topic here and handled , correct?
