On Saturday, along Buck Hill Road, which is the shortcut to Head of River Road, coming from The Atlantic County Park at Estell Manor, I saw 5 adult wild turkeys, with at least that many babies following them around. Unfortunately a thunderstorm was just starting and it was getting dark. I attempted a picture, but because it was so dark, my shutter stayed open at least a full second. Without a tripod I know that picture won't come out. I was leaning on a tree, but still that's an awful long time for the shutter to be open without a tripod. (Didn't have my flash unit on the camera at the time.)
Anyway it was so cool to see all those wild turkeys.
