Woman moves to edge of Everglades then complains about gators in her yard

This is not Pine Barren related, but it reinforces what the mindset of some individuals are concerning wildlife. This woman moved to the edge of the everglades and now is complaining about alligators. She actually wants government subsidies or grants to build a fence to keep the kids in and the alligators out on her property. Make sure you watch the video if you are interested.

That just gets me fired up. The alligators were there first. If youre going to complain about the wildlife dont live there. The animals have more right to the land than the humans. We are destroying their habitats and forcing them to venture into our living areas. If you want a fence thats your deal and the government shouldnt be expected to pay for it. You can live anywhere you want. You dont have to live in an alligators backyard if you dont choose to and if you do choose to, accept the consiquences and dont complain.

Im never shocked by the shear ignorance and stupidity of some poeple. This woman is a perfect example of what is wrong with people, Its not bad enough that we deplete our natural resources at an alarming rate, its not bad enough that we force ourselves into areas that shouldnt be developed, but now we have morons like this.

The one good part about nature is, that unless it is completly destroyed it always comes back, it may take a few million years but after the human race is gone the forests can come back and take it all, you would never know there was anything there but the forest.
