For all of you bird watchers I was doing yardwork this morning and heard and interesting bird. Being intersted I recorded it and found the bird online. It turned out to be a Yellow-Billed Cuckoo. Apparently they come up here to breed in the summer then migrate south in the winter. Are these bird rare to see?? More information would be great from all of you knowlegeable individuals. Thanks

I've seen quite a few, I would say they are uncommon. I see them alot out at whitesbog. I believe they lay their eggs in other birds nest, then the parents raise them not realizing they aren't their own.
