The orchids are blooming. Start looking. I checked out one of my usual locations at Quarter Mile and it appears they are not there this year. Hard to believe but they liked the vehicle disturbance and now that it is growing back in they don't get any sun.
I was planning to do just that for the next two weeks. I know of two locations, but I'm going to check out another possible spot. Stopping by one of the known locations back on 7/14, the orchid looked like this.....
