Yesterday In Pine Barren History

I have been trying to add Pine Barren dates into my iCal calendar to try to keep a better record on important "events" that might be of interest, and the first one I hoped to post about I am one day late

In any event, yesterday Isabel Beck would have been 101.

And not exactly pine related, but on my calendar, this was two years ago today.

His car wasn't meteor proof.

That smashed window and the hole in the roof just above the door was caused by a car being on top of ours. The back right tire. We were pushed under the car and it slid up on top of us. We were looking at the bottom of the car until I slammed on the brakes and the car slid off.
