I was sorting through some of my collection and came upon this photo of the U.S.S. Los Angeles (ZR-3) moored at Lakehurst N.A.S. The airship was built in Germany after WW1 as war reparation and delivered to the U.S. Navy. I thought the title, "Among the Pines" made sharing it appropriate on this forum. If anybody is interested, I can upload more of the like.

An open question to the site administrators: Is Photographers phorum the best place to post more vintage Lakehurst N.A.S. photos or should they be posted elsewhere?

Love that photo! IMO, you should post wherever you think best. Other threads in the Photography Forum generally contain pictures that were recently taken by site members however. Only other thing is to be certain that any images you post are not copyrighted by someone else. :)

This forum is fine. Ben wrote at the top of the forum this:

Showcase your Photography here. (Non-PB photos welcome as well.)

No. 258 is interesting. It shows the workers' cars all in the hanger parked (never do that today). It's a shot seldom seen--that all the workers drove almost similar cars due to the sparse models to choose from. 90% if not all look like Model A Fords.
Those vehicles and the people really convey the size of those airships. Bob is that you on the left ?
:)
