I saw it elsewhere on the forum, it was theorized to be created by, perhaps, the Lower Forge gun club. (There is an "LD" on the little dam. Anyone know how old it is?

HistoricAerials shows that something may have been there as far back as 1931 or earlier. I would have to assume that the Lower Forge Club built the current dam in 1962.
