Shame to see those Menantico lakes "closed." Has there ever been a rationale given for each specific closure?
The 2022 closure was a complete closure Dan.. This year it looks like a fair amount of pond area will be open. I seem to remember that the City of Millville complained loudly last year about the closures. Maybe it worked.

Sorry, I can't answer your question about rationale. There is no good reason, other than that the shitheads far outnumber the CO'S in all of our WMA's and State Forests. Enforcement of game laws and laws in general in my neck of Wharton, is nonexistent. It didn't used to be that way. Next year I will have lived here 40 years. In the first 15 years, I could at least count on game wardens and rangers passing through regularly. Now they are ghosts.
