Quaker Soap

Ah, more knowledge for the old noggin. I've never heard the foam called quaker soap. I can't wait to drop that name while out in the pines. Thanks for the tid bit of info TO.
 
I haven't heard of that either. Where did you come across the term.

Ever since I was knee-high to grasshopper I've heard it called that. I read somewhere why it was called that and can't remember where. It was on a recent trek through the Pines the question popped into my head again....:( yet another mystery of the Pines :bang:
 
Well it would be easy to conjecture from the early activities of Quakers along some of the rivers, and the fact that a lot of them lived in the area and passed through to Tuckerton (if I recall correctly) for meetings. Also, quite a few apparently fell in :).
