Anyone familiar with Oswego lake to Bear swamp (I believe it's called Sooy rd, Sooy place is diff on Google maps)? Ive been wanting to go but I only drive a 4cyl awd Forester...I wondered if, when it's been dry for a while, the roads are relatively passable w/ my car. I keep a comealong and tow...

This is quite a time later but I think the sand road that runs from Batsto to Atsion (stage coach or quakerbridge rd i think it's called ) is a nice one with lots to see in the PB and plenty of trails that come off this one ...very easy no chance of getting stuck in a 4wd but bring a good tow...

Alot of those roads are still closed down there, part of Rt 542 is still closed (apparently a bridge got washed out) , Atsion/quakerbridge rd is closed (n-bound side of 206). The beach/rec area was open tho. No real probs in Penn State Forest by Oswego tho..didnt look like much flooding had even...

That makes total sense. Less ppl = less ppl to 'manage/direct' and less who will sit around talking while a small group works.:) good idea. If u need volunteers, I'm here:))

They say you can use vaseline to get them off of you. Slather some on the bite. Since ticks breathe out of the exposed end (their a**) the vaseline suffocates them, they back out and fall off
