    Apple Pie Hill

I'm planning on a little expedition either later today(wednesday) or thursday depending on weather. I guess I'll have to make sure I put apple pie hill on my list of places to visit. Just have to deicde how I'm going to get there. Comming from new gretna I tend to enter the wharton down...

    Dedicated CB/FRS/GMRS Channel ?

That Jersey Devil board is pretty hardcore. I looked at some of the pics from their "Beginners rides section" and the trails look like something that'd make my truck run home to momma!

    Gotta' Question

I've done a lot by myself and at least once I SHOULD have gotten stuck(big puddle near calico) but I had enough momentum and really narly tires to keep me going. Othertimes I've been very adverterous I've had two trucks. The first time I ever tried the road out from Marthas Furnace to...

    Long Island's Pine Barrens

Next time I'm up to my in-laws place in Medford/patchogue area I'll get ahold of you. I've got a Zr-2 blazer and a Nikon D-50 Dslr could get some excellent photographs.

    Apple Pie Hill

Has anyone attempted a ride up there recently to see what the story is? I never made it to apple pie hill it's been on my list of places to try to get to. One day actually we were going to head there but got a little lost on the way to jamaima mount and somehow wound up in friendship so we...

    Red Road...

Is there anyway to get from 539 to Stephenson road? Perhaps Bever Dam Road or is that blocked too? Or off 563 taking the split to the left just after the ocean spray plant?

    Red Road...

Where is this Red Road? The only red road I know of runs between 539 and Dans Bridge road but Google Earth labels it Dump road.

Anyone ever tried getting to calico from the back

I was looking around on google earth and noticed you can take martha road up past nash's cabin and before you hit andrews road there is a right onto the top portion of Shamong road. Shamon road intersects with Calico road right near one of the gates from the bombing range. I've been on the...

Anyone planning any trips in sept/oct?

No. I may have access to one though I'll have to see next time I'm down there. I actually live in PA now but grew up in that area and my parents are still down there. They have a handheld one from BREMSAR I'd have to see if it is still working.

Anyone planning any trips in sept/oct?

Funny last time I went to find Jemima I had one of the USGS maps and still manage to miss it somehow got very lost and somehow wound up at the caranza memorial which was a feat for entering the forrest close to new gretna I just thought it'd be pretty cool if a small group were going out I'd...

Anyone planning any trips in sept/oct?

Actually a combination of exploration and some 4x4ing. It's a stock vehicle so I'm certainly not talking mud pitts. But I've made trips to nash's cabin out calico road to shamong road and countless jaunts to marthas and even taken marths furnace road all the way back out to I think it's 542(the...

Anyone planning any trips in sept/oct?

Wondering if anyone is planning any trips in sept/oct in bass river/wharton or neighboring areas. I bought a Blazer ZR2 to replace my old blazer and I wanna do some more exploring now that I've got some extra ground clearance.
