    Went down it today. The state cleared out the pipe. Water is flowing through and that spot is dry now.

    I did that drive two weeks ago, just before the week of rain. There was one spot that the water was bubbling up in the middle of Sandy Causeway like an artisan well. There was a clogged pipe under the road and must have had a crack. Water was bubbling up and flowing down the road.

    As most know the woods are very wet. Many roads are nearly impassable. Caranza road is officially closed temporarily by the state.

    We got out for a short trip. There’s a lot of water pooled up and slowly draining. There are puddles in areas that don’t normally have puddles and most have currents.

    Yea the Clark Branch runs straight through that section. There is a lot of area in there especially now. It looked like the drier areas were burning well on Friday.

    To be clear we are not talking about “unmanaged paths” as you call them. They are roads. Don’t be afraid to call them that here. Would you be for or against increased funding if it came with the stipulation that little or no roads would be closed?
