I made a quick stop at Palmyra Cove yesterday to check it out. The area that I once called "The dessert" is now piled high with dredge. I thought it would stink but there was no discernible oder. Also it looked like top soil but I did not get very close to it. Steve

Steve, i go over to the park once in a while when i am not in the mood for driving too far, i hope the corps knows what they are doing taking the river down to 45 feet, the dredge will contain some nasty stuff, DDT being on of them, they were going to dredge up a creek in my neigborhood but...

Palmyra Cove is a great place. I visit there quite often. I think it stinks that the army wants to use it for dredge but they did have it first. Steve
