Absurd! Where did they dig that idea up. I watched it twice because the absurdity was so good.

    Music for the day

This is a Christmas song, not that shreiking an caterwauling that some stations play. I enjoy the Christmas season music. Love for family and all.

Looks to be on a long slope up to that old road. Be interesting to see what you find. I think either a big patch of mountain laurel, or a big pine or other large tree.

Test Pits on the top of hills..?

I agree, I think your evidence is compelling. They knew these areas had stone, but at the time they had no idea it was due to inverted topography.

    Tar Kiln Locations?

Al, the same exact thing happened to me this spring, up off 539 and north of route 70. I went 1/4 mile out of my way to see what it was, and it too was laurel. Test Pits on the top of hills..?

I forgot all about this alligator. I posted something about it on this forum last spring sometime. I told myself to go back and look, but life got in the way.

Another great pines car was the 1960's models of the Corvair Monza, also rear engines. Used to be with a guy who'd step on it coming around sand road corners. Wonderful fishtailing. https://www.hagerty.com/media/automotive-history/chevrolet-corvair-end-of-the-line/

The first record I bought when I was young was "Tuesday Afternoon" by the Moody Blues. I was infatuated with that recording.

Drag a 20' string behind you tied to a little fake mouse or bird, that'll do the trick.

Pennsylvania Hunter Dies in Shocking Treestand Fire

Saw a tree stand last week that was flourished with the remains of either a fake christmas tree or fake wreaths in the hopes deer would not recognize the hunter. Certainly garish though, displaying a glossy sheen in a green color uncommon in the pines.
