I went past Atsion at about 12:30 and there were FFS trucks and a helicopter. Looking south now down 206 from Nacle there appears to be smoke.

A big cloud of smoke came up from the south and the ash was heavy, burnt pine bark that did not crumble when I picked it up . The smoke is gone now.

We now have ash falling.

I smell smoke here in Nacle.

I meant a form to report a sighting.

What form is that? I helped one across a road last week.

The pictures were taken at 2 sec intervals, I stretched them to 5 sec to make a good video. Six days and 25 GB of pictures.

I can't say exactly Chris, but it was around my wife's birthday, maybe March 22. This morning from the road along the RR tracks behind the Carranza Memorial. The little hill west of the parking lot. What needles that didn't burn are dropping to the ground. Take a drive along the tracks...

And kill a lot of critters! This years burn at Carranza was so hot the crowns of the trees are brown and dropping needles. The snakes, turtles and lizards could not have survived. Even if some did, the burn was so extensive that they will not be able to find food. Yes, the berries will come back...

How does the Hornbeck do when going over logs? With my kayak I just ram them, pop up on it and pull- slide over. Will these pack canoes take that? Will sliding over a gavel bottom harm them?

I think you have to selectively import to the appropriate list on your new computer. You could also import them into my collection - unlisted data and then move them to where they belong. I know of no neat way.

Last time I needed something I just contacted Methvins in MT Holly. I think they were interconnected by computer to other yards and they found my part.

I don't think so Bob. The bridge over the Batsto doesn't' have double rails like the one in Guy's picture. The other one nearby doesn't' have them either. That's what has me stumped.

I guess you could put a copyright on his pictures. The Quinton Gun Club was across the street from me. It was active when I moved here in 1976 and continued for 1 or 2 decades more. It has now been converted to a residence...

What was the location of the club at Sandy Ridge? Sandy Ridge has always been somewhat nebulous, unless you consider it to be an area, not a specific place. Do you know when the current club was built?
