I agree with you for the location the photos were taken. I said the location of 12-1973 because of the black top. I have been driving and walking that area since the 60's and don't remember the road south toward Hawkin Bridge or north on Carranza toward Tabernacle being paved, nor have I seen...

Okay Bob, I just blew my morning on this puzzle.:) Does slide 12-1973 have a location? I am thinking it is looking back toward Speedwell, if it is Friendship. I thought Pan's shot was taken from the bridge looking SE. Here are a couple of pics from Ghost Towns and other quirky places in the PB...

    Where is this?

That would be just south of Pine Crest. Those doors were from a box car that derailed there a long time ago. I don't think the bent rails are associated with the derailment because I don't remember seeing them in the 90's and that track was in use up to 1978. Guy will maybe confirm this.

    Where is this?

Guy, when did you take that picture? I walked the rails from Carranza to Chatsworth in the late 90's and don't remember seeing that.

    Bread and Milk

3 3/4 inches here in Nacle, measured on the back wooden deck that doesn't see sun this time of the year, so it is pretty accurate. I'm taking a break from plowing my 400 foot driveway. It is wet underneath and that will freeze. I am hugging a warm mug of Guinness, which is my treat when I do...
