    Chatsworth Lake Boat Access?

the canal is possible as I have kayaked it a number of times. There are a lot of downed trees and it is honestly much easier to put in right along 532 about 1/2 way across the lake. Dogg57 linked to a thread I did a little while back. Pickerel will be the main game in the lake. Jeff

    Edmunds Spring

It is funny, I was just out by Slab Causeway yesterday morning. You have Island Spring, four mile spring and gum spring and tar kiln spring out there but I don't know of an edmund spring. Jeff

Paddle to Oak Island (I think)

I'll second that. it is a great drive with look out towers also. You can see A/C across the marshes too, which makes for a kind of cool contrast. the hiking trails are good this time of year, forget it in the summer...the greenheads and mosquitos are unbearble (and I have a pretty high...

ridin to power lines nj pine barrens

I think your right Bob, that looks like the power lines on the northern end of Forked river. I don't see much damage being done under the power lines. The other day I was driving down Savoy road and right where it crosses route 72 there were trucks after trucks loaded with quads. Must have...

Exploring Jones Road and Black's Bridge

Nice report. I wouldn't go in the woods this time of year (like you would have to do to find the black stone) without permitherin or serious amounts of deet. Glad you enjoyed that area of the woods, it is nice back in there. Jeff

    Could Use Some Help

Hey there bergenparanormal, I am Jeff. As indicated in previous posts by other members I live near this area in question. I have been all though this area. It is state owned land north of Moores property holdings. There was a cranberry industry there at one time but little remains of it...

    A new stuck vehicle video

I just saw the video and read the subsequent posts quickly. I would be more inclined to believe this is in the great swamp on an established road. However, I would have to revisit it to confirm. If this is the case I would have to agree that this is not illegal or even particularly damaging.

    Another 5AM outing

Enjoyed the continuing report, Guy. I have wondered what was back there LOL. the pines are different in the morning aren't they? When I used to suffer from extreme insomnia, many years ago, I used to head out into the pines a little before 3am and stay till sun up. It was a different world.

    Nixon's General Store

I have to disagree with you here, Guy. Nixon's selling point is their simple, old fashioned, rural flavor. If I want WiFi (which I don't) I'll go to starbucks.
