Changes IN NJ State Park Regs

agreed. That conclusion is based on what the general assumption is at this time. More information is certainly needed. if you read the proposal as it pertains to motorcycles entirely, not just the AMA excerpt, the general assumption could be inncorrect. Here is the direct link, then go to page 5.

Changes IN NJ State Park Regs

the actual proposal is very vague and may not apply to dual sport bikes, however, because of this vague-ness, dual sport bikes could be potentially banned. As non-street legal motorcycles are already prohibited, what is the point of the proposal? I think a phone call is in order.

Changes IN NJ State Park Regs

and that is exactly what they are proposing to do now...prohibit an otherwise legal vehicle (dual sport). As stated before, dual sport riders are not the ones causing damage. This proposal would be entirely ineffective in preventing environmental damage. It would only punish law abiding...

Changes IN NJ State Park Regs

thanks for that link Scott. You know I'm writing in about this. If you can come up with some sort of "boilerplate text" Ben, that would be great. As for #10 in the regs...arent there about a million botanical expeditions going on all the time. Does the PPA get specific permission each time...

That's good advice Guy. It looks like it might be a good winter explore to see if more evidence is there.

    What was here?

46er, German, this is not the pig farm off of 72. I think that is what 46er is confusing this area with. They are not far from each other. this is someplace different and most likely not related.

    What was here?

I don't recall it being discussed here before. If you know the thread link please direct me to it. I am not surprised that it became a dump site, but prior to that it was something. I wonder what.

    What was here?

Lets see if I can set that link up better. If you zoom in and move up 72 NW, there is "something else" along the same side of the road a few yards away...

    What was here?

About a month ago I was out on my motorcycle when I came across an area along route 72 with signs of old disturbance/habitation. I remebered being there before in the Pre-historic aerials years and wondering what might have been there. Well this time I went back to historic aerials and found...

    Name that Ruin

I have no idea. I am unfamilar with the history of the area except that they mentioned there was a lot of activity there in colonial times, which the ruins clearly did not date back to.
