    Like SPICY food???

Every year, I make some pickled peppers (all kinds) and pickled eggs. I usually sell jars, but I noticed that this year outside of my usual orders I have some jars left over.... So, if anyone one from the PB forums would like a jar of extremely hot pickled peppers or real spicy pickled...

    Where is the Shrouds house??

I am sorry if I misled you, but I am recommending that you do NOT go looking for the Shroud House. There is no convenient place to "walk in". It is a very small, overgrown patch of land. And it is nowhere near the paved trail you speak of. I know of other stories, not locations. Please...

    Where is the Shrouds house??

That house is an old ramshackle house, but, yes, someone does live there. It is a little ways away from where the actual birthing house was. There is not much room to park near either place and the neighborhood people really do not like it when people go there looking for the "house". I know...

    Where is the Shrouds house??

The Shrouds House was a birthing house in Leeds Point in the 1600's. Some of the JD legends put his birth there. The actual location of the house was down past where Moss Mill and Leeds Point Rds are. Turtle is right. Although the property may no longer be private property (I am fairly...

    Mapping out Wharton

Very cool info Boyd! I am using ArcGIS and have the full version. I also have groups of people willing to help. I am thinking walking the trails will be a lot of fun if it is done with groups of friends. So far I have about 15 people willing to help. 5 groups of 3 will suffice. I am...

    Mapping out Wharton

Thanks Boyd! I am taking a certification course right now on geospatial technology from the GIS department at ACCC. This would make a great project even though I know it is going to take FOREVER! I will be looking at your maps and other sources and probably use it for my STARS...

    Mapping out Wharton

So this idea was thrown out there about a year ago by a friend and kind of went by the wayside. Now, as I am taking this certification course at the college, it is bringing up whole new possibilities. I have been looking at a project to do and this was brought to my attention again...

    Fire in Bass River

The fire started out as two small fires, about 10-20 acres total. Maybe 250 acres with the burn out. It is in a very swampy area near Dan Bridge Rd. It has potential to grow to about 800-900 acres. I will be heading out that way tomorrow morning to see if Cynthia needs any help clearing out...

    what is must-see pine barrens?

The Harrisville ruins are impressive and Hampton Furnace is one of my favorite places as well. Batsto is also a good place to walk around, in a non-woodsy environment and get a lot of history. Plus, I hear one of the ladies that works in the Batsto office is super nice...
