You missed my point. Don't go silent. Keep the petitions and letters to our representatives. Discussing it on social media simply keeps the debate alive and plays into their hand.

Nope. But if nobody is listening who cares what either extreme says. Petition the Pinelands Comittee to support the DEPs plan is all that is needed to be done. Anything beyond that is pure propaganda on their end to keep this topic alive. Simply posting it here is helping them. Think about it...

Thier drums never stopped beating. They are only beating louder because they are not being heard. The DEP came up with the best plan using their resources. Implementing a larger plan requires more resources which the PPA already admit are to limited. The best plan is to just let them beat away...

04/26/16 @ 1500 hrs- SECTION C6- Winslow Twp, Camden County- "Piney Hollow Rd"- C6 crews are working a fire on Piney Hollow Rd near Banger's Gun Club. Aircraft Charlie 1 and Delta 3 worked early on. Some structure protection was initially set-up. Last update from the IC at 1730 hrs 75%...

Rained several times here. I'm sure it stopped the spread but if they couldn't get containment before it started they will have days of patrols until they can.

You could be a little more enthusiastic. I'm sure the letter calling for volunteers to place little brown signs a year ago was much more positive then this. Helping this new plan succeed should be in everyone's interest for the good of the pines.

If everyone remembers the same size signs were proposed in the original MAP. In Rob's town meeting presentations he even had a picture of it in a slide. They just had different text.

While I don't agree totally with the story. There is some truth in it. A very large or several large fires could tax the resources needed to fight them. In no way do I think it will be the worst fire in US history. Another "Black Saturday" is possible but not likely with today's laws and...
