    Beer (again)

I do know Asleep at the Wheel. I....I must find that music. I miss cover art, we don't get that with MP3s anymore. It's sadly gotten to be a lost art, hasn't it? That was almost half the fun of getting a new record. Half was listening to it, 49% was reading the jacket and inserts, and 1% was...

    Beer (again)

That is the most completely awesome...album cover? EVER. (is that what it is?) I cannot hazard a guess as to the beer.

    Southern Railroad of New Jersey

Well, shoot, we were just in Winslow WMA today, neither of us had ever been there.Next time we'll have to find the trains. Kevin, your photos are stunning. You're very gifted. We went to the quarry pond (at least I think that's what it is) down the tracks from Winslow station toward Hammonton...

    Smart Fishing Heron

Wow! That is a bird using a tool, correct? I have always had a sense that animals are capable of being a lot smarter than we give them credit for. All we have to do is watch them. :)

Finding a watering hole at twilight

Antler-bearing animals have bony pedicels on their skull that gives rise to antler growth. The pedicels are actually part of the skull and are not shed, and become larger (wider) every year.

possible change in our weather pattern?

Grendel, that's an awesome link, thank you! I appreciate it. It tells a very interesting story there, and I will investigate. It is quite different than the other data I have seen. My personal mission is to figure out why. :)

possible change in our weather pattern?

I also have no political agenda. The science is what I pay attention to.

The 'Big One' may be on the way....

93 was awesome! Until it all melted at once and flooded my house. But the snow was fantastic! I have the best photos of that storm.

possible change in our weather pattern?

I do not believe I have seen the data that shows the CO2 levels in polar ice core samples is higher than it is today. Do you have that source handy? That is true. (except you will want to substitute "tens of millions" for "thousands"). There is a cyclical nature to our global climate. That is...

possible change in our weather pattern?

Reviewing the data and the publications on climate change, I agree that climate change has been exponentially exacerbated by the anthropogenic contribution of insulating substances such as CO2 to the earth's insulating layer. I do not think the data is biased or selectively reported, it's valid...
