We must have seen a lot of you out there and not realized it. I was there with a group Sunday afternoon... There were quite a few spots still smoldering. I also thought the damage would be much more severe than it was. We hiked and rode and hiked some more. It was so....quiet.

The Press in AC is known for taking shortcuts and never getting anything right. We are at war with them for all sorts of reasons and I would be happy to take up this cause! I will talk to someone from the paper tomorrow and let you guys know what's going on!

I was in the area last night. Smoke on 206 was hrrible until you got to the area where the fire was parrallel. Then there was no smoke because of the way the wind was blowing. Sorry that it is hitting you so hard Rednek. Should be better by tonight....
