Who drove those trucks??? I think I passed you guys (and maybe many others) that day. I was driving a green Dakota...
Does the state ever give you guys an official 'thank you'?
the other thing I'm doing this coming spring is a auto show with all money going to wharton. I'm looking at doing multiple 4x4 classes and atv class a power wheels class for the kids and also for the car side of things i'll be doing multiple classes as well. it will be free for spectators and it will cost $12 to enter your vehicle into the show. looking at having 75 trophies and dash plaques to the first 150 vehicles to enter. if i can get the 150 expected minimum entries that will be $1800 there not including 50/50s and vendor payments. all together my goal is to raise $3000 for wharton. Talking to Terry they are pretty excited to see this happen. its still in the planning stages now.
our group. nevermind the "posted" signs, this is where the rangers told us to go apparently some people like to claim they own the pole road too]
Was that the "pole" road opposite the Wildlife Refuge in Medford (off Medford-Jackson Rd)?
That area has old parts/trash dating back to the 1930s and a large carpet dumping area with everything from old propane tanks, TVs to cloths to construction and landscaping debris. I try to carry stuff out of there when I can, but there is just too much stuff to make a dent. If anybody returns there, I'll gladly join and help out (sorry I missed the cleanup event).
no problem. When I get a set date and location i'll be sure to post it all over the net with printable flyers for people to hang up at work or at their local stores.

Dave - Keep me in the loop - I can mobilize support for you via the Northeast Off Road Association and so forth.
Great pics and report George.
It really is one of the best days that I spend in the woods year and I spend a lot of them.
The puppy certainly enjoyed the outing and at only 10 weeks old, he appears to be very well socialized. He was a big hit at the Pic for sure.
I can't wait to get some miles on him when as he gets bigger.
As you said, there is a marked improvement in the woods each year, at least down here.
We had to struggle to put together 3 truckloads of crap where 7 loads was the norm a few years ago.
