thanks ed and guy. both posts got me to where i wanted to be. ill be walking from hawkins bridge to batona and wanted to walk past some things i did in 08. might skip apple pie hill. doing batsto-hawkin's bridge-batona-lower forge-batsto.

i won the shop award in 8th grade (2 year subscription to Popular Mechanics). i really liked him. when in Lenape he would come ski with us at Pine Hill. then in '73 i interviewed him for a paper i was writing. very smart man. :)
