Other than forest firefighters being in a bad spot almost nothing seems horrible about this. Area needed a hot burn, its almost unpenetrable forest. I did radio telemtry thru there, thick thick stuff.

Can someone tell me what are these platforms by LBI that have doghouses on them? There is also one near beesleys point. Have to be for birds but not sure what kind.

Question, are crayfish common in pine barrens? I saw a instagram post of one in pines and I never thought of them being around. I do recall otter scat with signs of them in cumberland.

Would like to think a few people played a part in getting this protected. A good example of how submitting T&E sightings to the state gets land protected.

Sorry for your loss Scott. I always liked Bills posts and insight anytime he provided it on this site. The old photos of him riding through the barrens are special and everytime I see them it makes me wish I could go back to that era in the pines.
