    Mays Landing?

Thanks Boyd. How about development around there? Did alot of developments pop up down there over the last 5 years? Also do you find it similar as living in Medford in regards to the socioeconomic climate? I think ideally my sister and brother in law want to move into a town like Medford but...

    Mays Landing?

Just wondering if anyone on here lives in or adjacent to Mays. My sister may be moving there and I'm curious if its a nice place to raise a young family. How are the school districts? Did the development bubble hit hard there? Crime? Violence? etc. I personally like the area just based on hiking...

    Dogs and Snakes

Guy and Ed thanks for editing...sorry to sound over paranoid but I'm kind of the personal watchdog for those serpents there. Kevin is there maybe a way to teach him not to scent on the smell of rattlesnake. I don't have dogs nor ever have is this possible?? I have plenty of rattlesnake sheds...

    More mountain lion sightings

Interesting photos damkayaker.....my initial reaction was it a kitty cat......I just don't think you could ever get that close to a cougar. The things face looks like a yote. As for pancoast pics...the bottom of the heal pad needs to be double scalloped, that one is single, best way to tell...

    Leeds Point Road?

46er its the development or attempt at a development across from Harlequin Drive, green teal drive. I don't think its marked on google earth. Seems like maybe it was going to be a 5-10 house development and the real estate market killed it.

    Leeds Point Road?

Thanks 46er. I warned them about the no see ums, chiggs, ticks, mosquitoes and greenheads. I told them about the Jersey Devil thing as well. I think the house they are looking at is actually on the corner or leeds and stepping stone.

    Leeds Point Road?

My sister and brother in law are relocating to just outside of A.C.. The house they are looking into right now is off Leed's Point Road, the road is called Stepping Stone Road(900 Stepping Stone, Galloway NJ 08205). My question is it looks like the house they are interested in backs up onto...

"Driverless" ATV seen on Route 18

Jerseyman, can't say I know of any species with the description. Sounds pretty far fetched two skinny given the length to be anything from our region. Thanks for the information though....certainly interesting.

"Driverless" ATV seen on Route 18

Jerseyman, I'm glad you brought up lawnside as part of an outlier....There is one section by the woodcrest speedline heading towards Lions Gate that definetely has a little bit of a piney feel. I've also found species back there that are more commonly found in areas along the perimeter of the...

    Route 72 Flood

A mud turtle is a small 3-4 inch semi aquatic turtle that is common throughout southern nj. It is not in the same family as box turtles and it is smaller and more aquatic then a box turtle. It is found in streams and ponds throughout the pine barrens and seldomly seen by the average pine...

    Route 72 Flood

The mud turtles very well could have been hibernating in the pipe clogging......but it seems a little far fetched to be honest.

    Abandoned guinea pig at Carranza

Gipsie if you ever need any tips on the pigs care let me know. We've had pigs since I was little and some of the care tips you read out there can be real inaccurate. I noticed in the picture the former owner had the pig in cedar chips, I would suggest using only pine shavings. Also I would...

    Savoy Blvd happenings....

Not owned by NJCF as part of the Parker Preserve(to my knowledge). I'm not sure what is going on there but a friend who spends time in that area claims the owner of the property is doing some sort of modification to the property...he told my buddy that the building will remain but I have no...
