    Don't buy an Apple

Not to mention you had to order your ink through Dell; no other ink worked.

    Don't buy an Apple

Other than it taking 3 years to pay off, I had no problems with my Dell. Just recently upgraded and sold it to my aunt. ...now my Dell all in one printer, on the other hand, was godawful.

    Archaeology Courses

I've always had an interest in archaeology, and reading Gods, Graves, and Scholars has increased that interest. Unfortunately none of the nearby colleges have any courses for it. Oh well, maybe when I move.

Ever run into the "trouble" in the pines?

Usually I just see hunters. Sometimes I come across groups of kids, and for whatever reason I guess I intimidate them, because they usually leave. When I did my site camping trip a few months back, there were 2 kids camping out in Hermann City; sounded like they ran away or were otherwise...

    Fort Mott

I'm surprised they haven't sealed the bunker like they did the tower up the street. The tower's supposed to be a tourist attraction sometime in the near future, but I don't know when or if they're even considering it now. There are a lot more towers in Delaware and you can climb some of them.

    Fort Mott

That was at Finn's Point Cemetery, up the road from the fort - one of the handful of cemeteries to inter both Union & Confederate soldiers. The ferry runs among forts Mott, Delaware, and DuPont.

    Urban Problems Drifting our Way

Manitou's always been the "bad" area around here. Nobody goes there if they don't have to.

    My book

Ugh, that was another fear of mine. Being compared to them. Unlike them, I've actually visited and photographed everywhere I've written about. They actually told me once to "open the south up for them". I have nothing against the author of the Quirky book; I guess it was a territorial...

    My book

:ninja: Ehhh, same as the site I guess - just more detailed writeups. The emphasis of it is little known history. I don't want to give away too many places in it; all I'm going to say right now is that there are a bit under 40 of them, split up into 31 "chapters" (too short to be chapters...

    My book

Honestly there isn't much to say right now other than it's gonna be trade paperback and it's site-related. I'm currently at the back of the line; the publishers only do 3 books a year, and 2 of those are coming out next week. Kinda feel ignored at the moment, but my time will come. Again, a...

    My book

I've been keeping this pretty hush-hush and haven't really mentioned it anywhere, but I have a book coming out about southern New Jersey sometime next year with Middle Atlantic Press as the publisher. I hesitated to mention it here mostly because I figured the attitude would be "great, another...

    Apple Pie Hill

That place got worse every time I went up there. Why do people feel the need to do such things? Nobody's impressed. I wonder why they can't put up a gate. I'm going to have to rework that chapter of my book now.
