I've always had an interest in archaeology, and reading Gods, Graves, and Scholars has increased that interest. Unfortunately none of the nearby colleges have any courses for it. Oh well, maybe when I move.

I'm surprised they haven't sealed the bunker like they did the tower up the street. The tower's supposed to be a tourist attraction sometime in the near future, but I don't know when or if they're even considering it now. There are a lot more towers in Delaware and you can climb some of them.

That was at Finn's Point Cemetery, up the road from the fort - one of the handful of cemeteries to inter both Union & Confederate soldiers. The ferry runs among forts Mott, Delaware, and DuPont.

That place got worse every time I went up there. Why do people feel the need to do such things? Nobody's impressed. I wonder why they can't put up a gate. I'm going to have to rework that chapter of my book now.
