    Cranberry Mustard

I scored some Teaberry last month at the candy store in Collingswood. I see Blackjack once in a while in places like newsstands. The candy store in Ocean One Mall in Atlantic City had Blackjack and Sour Apple. I haven't seen the Sour Apple in years.

    Police: Bobcat seen in Evesham

I was kidding you know. I'll have to remember to throw an emoticon into posts like that. My husband lives in King's Grant. He knows what a bobcat looks like.

    Police: Bobcat seen in Evesham

I live in Evesham township. Think I'll go for a walk in the woods tomorrow. I usually drive somewhere to hike because there are so many houses here and too many people here, like me. I have to admit though, when I walk behind Kings Grant over toward Kettle Run Road and down to the old airport, I...

    Millville Holly Orchard

Find anything? I just ran across a piece on a Garden State EnviroNet page. August 17 2004 Press of Atlantic City ..."The controversial project is for an upscale 950-home active adult community with a golf course and other amenities." Maybe that one didn't go through.

    Are you old?

My son found several versions of the ringtone offered online. One I could hear. Another required turning up the speaker and moving left and right till I could pick up the sound. The third I couldn't hear at all. You know which one he downloaded to his phone.

    Are you old?

Teen repellent Mosquito, the original one, has a higher pitch than the ringtone. I can hear the ringtone, but I doubt that I'd be able to hear Mosquito.

My son was up there a few days ago. The tower is in place and the area hasn't been fenced off.

Trying to Find FRM (Forked River Mountain)

I'd lve to do that. I never did anything but stealth camping in my teens and twenties. I never stayed in a campground till a couple of years ago. Best camping experience that I ever had was when I was about 15. We camped on Mount Yeager near Mountain Top, PA. Parked off of Rt. 437, walked...

Batsto to Lower Forge hikethis past weekend

I think there's something to that. Years ago a veteranerian told my mother to feed the dogs brewer's yeast tablets and garlic in the warm season to repel fleas and ticks. A sibling who's quite heavy always gets a lot more mosquito hits than I do. My mother who is diabetic is a fly magnet. My...

    Summer Daze in the Pines

I just checked Lehigh Gorge online and there are no advisories. I haven't been to Glen Onoko falls in years.

    Question about cleaning books.

Mold is bad enough but the mouse droppings are worse. We're talking Hantavirus, Leptospirosis and who knows, probably the CDC, what else. First and foremost buy a vacuum cleaner with *true* HEPA filtration. My mold remediator suggested the Nilfisk Family Vac. Whichever brand/model that you...

Any good hiking trails in the Pines aside from Batona?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that it is the Yellow Trail that you can pick up behind the Atsion ranger station and goes down to Batsto area. That leg is 9 miles long.

    Summer Daze in the Pines

There are other nice parks, but Ricketts Glen is one of my favorites. I was going to go there this weekend or mid August to hike and just found out yesterday that the falls trail is closed, Yeah, there's a lake and there are other trails thought I don't feel like making that long a trip for a...

    Bass River Bigfoot

Big foot in the pines could be nothing more than Boo Radley with back hair, but if something scares you it doesn't really matter who or what it was. If you didn't see "it" clearly, there are more questions than answers. I'm asking for trouble here but I've seen a ghost. No, not for a second...
