Ro & I were on a birding/photography trip along the coast - Avalon to Cape May - last Sunday. We stopped at Cape May Point - only a few Herring Gulls. The concrete ship wreck is slowly disappearing, so we took pictures to record it as of January 2016.

Eagle nest in Burlco County Park on 206 today - bird on right side branch of tree but can't see any nest activity .....

All the above said, I wonder where the eagles now nest?????

We monitor it from 206 with binoculars since we travel that road several times a week. You can get a closer look by going into the paved parking lot for the County Park at the north end, off Jacksonville-Jobstown Rd., but still not really close. When there were eagles in a nest there signs...

Smoke Jumper: same park, west side of 206 in Springfield Twp. Eagles built the new nest but it looks like they need schooling in mechanical engineering..... They've apparently abandoned it; maybe they decided it wasn't a good job. Tree hasn't much good places left for big nest.
