Whitesbog drive thru.....
Great photos. Two feet might be a little long of a guess on that pickeral, but it does seem large relative to the bird. Those herons are really ambitious. Jeff- woodjin

yeah, this is by a bog. It is literally sitting on the ground (and secured to a tree) but it took that position, plus a pine cone shim to point it more downward to get the shots.- woodjin
