    Beer (again)

Right now enjoying an ice cold Stoudt's Double IPA by myself in my dark downstairs family room. My mind is clear except for occasional disruptions of my mind toturing itself thinking about the homer A-roid hit off Lidge earlier today. Other than that horrific thought, life is pretty good...

    Uh-oh...Trouble

I saw one yeaterday too Bob. Not nearly as impressive though as your find. It was at the Philadelphia Zoo. They have some great snakes there including cobras, pythons, anacondas, and three types of rattlers. I would love to see one of those in the wild. Timber Rattler that is.

Great Swamp Branch & Nescohague Creek, A PBX Hike

I love hearing your stories about the woods Bill. When we were at the bridge, Guy and Scott told me it was named Bloody Bridge. The remnants of the bridge (burned) were a short distance away. I'll be returning there soon.

Great Swamp Branch & Nescohague Creek, A PBX Hike

Its Ok man, I just kept a slow pace during the final stretch. After Bloody Bridge I felt strong enough to finish, I was never in danger again after I got hydrated and took off the boots and dipped my feet into the creek. Y'all may think I'm nuts but I'd do again tomorrow, well maybe not...

Great Swamp Branch & Nescohague Creek, A PBX Hike

I woke up this morning with a little soreness but otherwise fully recovered from the days events. When we reached the bridge/water drop area I was in pitiful shape from the beating I took in the briars earlier. I was having trouble concentrating and the desire to just drop to the ground was...

    Beer (again)

Hasn't Paul suffered enough already?? Scott I honestly think you would dig some of the country oriented Dead tunes such as Johnny Cash's Big River, Cumberland Blues etc. As soon as I thought about the building going up I immediately thought of you suggesting to do it during a Dead...

Damn Bob you saw some amazing shows there!! Yes thats probably it for them there! Warren Hayes from Gov't Mule really kicked ass giving it an "Allmans" feel at the same time playing the Jerry role well. I saw Yes there and they were great live. The final concert at the Spectrum will be Sept...

    Beer (again)

Samuel Smith brews are great and not as "sharp" as many of the loaded bombs we break out at our get togethers. I love everything they make. Bob go to archive.org to hear the final two Spectrum shows from this past weekend. The Saturday show was really good. Didn't make it inside but...

    Goshen Pond to Atsion Lake

Did a very similiar trip last year when the water was a little warmer. Great area with some nice swimming holes. If anyone comes across an expensive pair of sunglasses between the pond and the bridge they're mine:) Ed did you notice the timbers from the old bridge submerged as you are...

odd occurance at Goshen Pond last night.

One of my co-workers mentioned tonight that Goshen Pond was trashed the other day. She mentioned seeing a port-a-john turned over, lots of trash around and she also mentioned the canoe out in the pond. There wasn't any police activity when she visited the area yesterday I do not know what time.

    Lines on the Pines

Great time seeing the brothers and sisters of the pines yesterday. I felt lucky to hear Boyd speak so well and with such serious purpose. It had been too long since I've kicked back with some good folks.

The 'Big One' may be on the way....

I'd like some snow but also remember the '93 mess. I was living in Newark, DE attending Winter Session at U of D. Basically slipping and sliding all over the place. The ice stuck around for months it was nuts! It does look like a nice winter for winter sports enthusiasts!
